Volusia Beach Info collects nothing about you. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. This page explains exactly what does and doesn't happen, in plain language.
The apps download public beach data and show it to you. That's the whole exchange. Specifically:

The website at beach.donwb.com keeps a basic server log of page visits so I can see whether anyone is using it. Each entry records the page path, the requesting IP address, the browser's user-agent string, and the referring page. Nothing is tied to a name or an account, because there aren't any, and the log is not shared with anyone or used for advertising.
The site loads one third-party script, the open-source hls.js video player, from the jsDelivr CDN. Fonts are served from this site, not from a font network. There are no advertising or analytics scripts.
Watching a live beach camera streams video from cams.donwb.com, a server I run. As with any video stream, that server sees the request and your IP address in its ordinary access log. The cameras point at public beaches; they are wide coastal views, not anything I control, aim, or record for this project.
Ramp status comes from Volusia County's public GIS feed. Tides and water temperature come from NOAA. Weather comes from the National Weather Service. These are fetched by my server, not by your device, so those agencies never see you.
The apps are rated 4+ and collect no personal information from anyone, including children.
